The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, CP (Prof) Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has warned criminals to steer clear off the Federal Capital Territory, declaring the area will no longer be a save haven for lawbreakers.

In a press briefing on Tuesday  in Abuja, Sanusi, who took over from his predecessor Miller Dantawaye, vowed to build on existing gains, adopting a proactive, intelligence-driven approach to policing. “Crime does not thrive where I serve,” he stated, urging officers to maintain professionalism and civilians to collaborate with the police.

The CP’s message to criminals was clear: “Pack up and exit the FCT, or face the full weight of the law.” He emphasized that the command will leave no stone unturned in identifying, pursuing, and flushing out criminal elements.
