FG SET TO HOLD HIGH LEVEL CONFERENCE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE ON REGULATORY AUTHORITIES
Allied Bond Consulting in collaboration with PIFS Conferences and Seminar is set to hold a high -level National conference targeted to boost regulatory effectiveness and enhance good governance standards in Nigeria.
According to a statement released by Sir Williams Taiwo, Programme Coordinator of Allied Bond Consulting stated that the workshop is taking place in Abuja, between 28th and 29th of August 2025, at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria Kubwa, the initiative set towards repositioning Nigeria’s regulatory bodies in accordance with Global best practices geared towards Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The programme will address pressing challenges issues facing regulatory institutions, including overlapping jurisdictions, regulatory conflicts, divergent enforcement strategies, and weaknesses in legal and institutional frameworks. The goal designed to develop actionable strategies for strengthening regulatory institutions for improved service delivery and governance outcomes.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, His Excellency Senator Dr. George Akume, CON, is set to be a special guest of honour of the day while deliver his key note address at the opening ceremony
The workshop targeted at senior officials of regulatory bodies, particularly Heads and Directors responsible for Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Legal Matters, Standards, and Service Delivery (Servicom).
This effort is part of a broader agenda to streamline regulatory oversight, reduce inefficiencies, and position Nigeria’s regulatory landscape for sustainable national development.
