The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) is collaborating with the African Cultural Festival (ACF2025) to host the African Diaspora Summit this September in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

The three-day event, scheduled for September 19 to 21, is supported by the Government of Pennsylvania and the Dauphin County Commissioners. It will bring together global leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and policymakers under the theme “Africa to the World: Culture, Creativity, and Collaboration.”

Chairman of NiDCOM, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, says the summit will serve as a platform to harness diaspora expertise, empower youth and women, and promote Africa’s creative economy as a driver of innovation and stronger global ties.

Highlights will include cultural showcases, youth leadership forums, business networking, and celebrations of African creativity in fashion, art, music, film, technology, and cuisine.

NiDCOM will also use the event to showcase Nigeria’s creative sector and secure strategic partnerships that align with the country’s economic and cultural development goals.

The African Cultural Festival, unveiled in March at the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg, will feature nine “Duduplugs” — fashion, music, art, tech, film, dance, literature, food, and home.
