Remo Decides 2025: Governor Abiodun Casts His Vote in Iperu
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Saturday exercised his civic duty as he participated in the Remo Federal Constituency bye-election.
At exactly 10:33 a.m., the Governor cast his vote at Polling Unit 002, Ita Osanyin, Ward 3, in Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area of the state. He was duly accredited by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before proceeding to the ballot box.
The voting process at the Governor’s polling unit was calm and orderly, with INEC officials conducting the exercise seamlessly and security operatives ensuring peace and order. Voters in the area also turned out in impressive numbers to perform their civic responsibility.
Governor Abiodun’s participation is widely seen as a reaffirmation of his commitment to free, fair, and credible elections, as well as an encouragement to citizens across the constituency to come out and vote peacefully.
