CP FCT COMMAND PAYS FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO COMMANDER GUARDS BRIGADE AND CONTROLLER OF CUSTOMS, FCT AREA COMMAND, ABUJA

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, PhD., fcai, on Wednesday, 15th April 2026, paid familiarization visits to the Commander, Guards Brigade Abuja, Brig. Gen. A.O. Onasanya, and the Controller of Customs, FCT Area Command, Comptroller V.C. Aliboh.

The visits, which are in continuation of his ongoing familiarization tour to sister security agencies within the FCT, are aimed at fostering inter-agency cooperation, strengthening operational synergy, and ensuring seamless intelligence sharing and joint operations to improve the overall security situation of the Federal Capital Territory.

During the visits, CP Ahmed Sanusi spoke extensively on unity of purpose among all security agencies. He commended the existing cooperation among the agencies and emphasized the need to sustain and deepen synergy, particularly through enhanced collaboration, intelligence sharing and mutual respect among officers across all ranks, with special attention to other ranks.

In their respective remarks, the heads of both agencies expressed full support and willingness to build on the already existing synergy between their respective agencies and the Command, reaffirming their commitment to working collaboratively in ensuring the security of the Federal Capital Territory.

The visits concluded with the exchange of plaques and souvenirs, as well as photo sessions to mark the occasion.
