Tinubu conferred Super Falcons With OON Title and Lavish Rewards

President Bola Tinubu has conferred the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on Nigeria’s Super Falcons and their entire technical crew.

The President conferred the honour during a reception held at the State House on Monday to celebrate the team’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

In addition, President Tinubu announced the allocation of three-bedroom apartments at the Renewed Hope Estate in Abuja to each of the players and members of the technical crew.

He also approved cash rewards, directing that each of the 24 players receive the naira equivalent of $100,000, while each of the 11-man technical crew is to be awarded $50,000.
